TAKANO "Chateau Nouvel Chronometer" is the first
Japan-made watch to pass the prestige chronometer
certification of the Besançon Observatory.
History
Originally established in 1899 as "TAKANO METAL GOODS FACTORY",
the company was renamed in 1938.
In its early years, the company specialized in wall clocks and table clocks,
but in 1957, started producing wristwatches under the TAKANO brand.
